Spirit EPS, Revenue Soar On More Flights; Shares Fall



Investors.com http://ift.tt/1nYL1mA Spirit Airlines' (SAVE) second-quarter earnings and revenue jumped on more flights and higher load factors. The budget airline's Q2 EPS jumped 44% to 91 cents. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters were expecting 89 cents. Revenue rose 23% to $499.4 million, above views for $498.7 million, while capacity was up only 17%. Shares had fallen 1.2% to 66.92 by late morning in the stock market today, Tuesday. Total revenue per available seat mile rose 4.6%
