This is the sound of an 18,000-year-old conch shell.

The shell was discovered in a cave in France in 1931, though archaeologists at the time overlooked a key detail: The object was almost certainly intended as an instrument, with a carefully removed tip to allow airflow and create sound. Now, researchers have shown how the shell was originally modified to play music, and to substantiate their findings they asked a musician to play the shell:
